Indication:

This study is collecting blood samples to help develop a better test for detecting Hepatitis B Virus (HBV).

February 10, 2025

Study duration:

1 in-clinic visit. Follow up of 1 year.

People at Risk for Hepatitis B or Showing Symptoms

You may qualify if you:

  1. Have had symptoms of Hepatitis B or belong to an at-risk group in the past 3 months.
  2. Are 2 years of age or older.
  3. Can understand and sign an informed consent form (or provide assent with a legal guardian’s permission).
  4. Are willing to donate a small blood sample.

 

People Who Have Been Fully Vaccinated for Hepatitis B in the Last 10 Years

You may qualify if you:

  1. Are 2 years of age or older.
  2. Have received all doses of a Hepatitis B vaccine within the last 10 years.
  3. Can understand and sign an informed consent form (or provide assent with a legal guardian’s permission).
  4. Are willing to donate a small blood sample.
·  Have received experimental or investigational drugs in the last 4 weeks.
·  Have already participated in this study before.
·  Are under the age of 2.
·  Are unwilling to sign the required consent or assent form.
·  Are unwilling to donate a blood sample.
