Age & Weight: Participants must be between 12 to <18 years old and weigh at least 88 lbs, or be ≥18 years old with no weight restrictions.
Risk Factors: Participants must have risk factors for progression to severe COVID-19, with different thresholds based on age:
12-49 years old: At least two risk factors, one of which must be moderate immunocompromise.
50-64 years old: At least two risk factors.
65-74 years old: At least one risk factor.
≥75 years old: No additional risk factors required.
Risk Factors: Includes obesity (BMI ≥30), smoking history, chronic lung diseases (e.g., COPD, interstitial lung disease), asthma requiring daily treatment, cardiovascular diseases, and diabetes
Severe COVID-19 requiring hospitalization within 24 hours.
Severe renal impairment or dialysis.
Active liver disease.
Concurrent active systemic infections other than COVID-19.
Diagnosis of Long COVID.
Severely immunocompromised individuals, including:
Hematologic malignancies (e.g., chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma).
Recent CAR-T-cell therapy or HCT.
Solid organ transplant recipients on immunosuppressive therapy.
Currently receiving B-cell depleting therapies (e.g., Rituximab)
